Activating the Messaging Service
Point to Messages > Company Data and select the Driver who should be
entitled to use the ‘Fleet App’ (‘Message App’).
The General dropdown menu opens with the data of the selected driver.
Click on [Modify], switch to the Message App dropdown menu and select the
Allow to use message app check box.
The driver can now use the app installed on his smartphone to communicate
via TIS-Web Communicator.
TIS-Web Communicator requires specific communication data to be able to
send and receive messages. Point to
• Messages > Company Data > Sites and enter your fleet's site data.
You can skip this step if you are already using TIS-Web DMM, i.e. the
required data will be copied. You can then check and supplement the data
if necessary.
• Messages > Company Data > Drivers and enter your driver data.
You can also skip this step if you are already using TIS-Web DMM.
However, in both cases you must specify the drivers who are allowed to
use the ‘Fleet App’ and the usage conditions.◄
