2. Remove two screws (callout 1).

TIP: These screws require a #10 torx driver

3. Open the document feeder base, and then carefully remove it from the product.

CAUTION: Do not damage the FFC (callout 1) that runs through the document feeder base.

Carefully feed the FFC through the slot during removal and during replacement.
